Mark scam

 

This is not  the case of money scam in either purchase of APC in Sudan or another else. Rather  it refers to the marks  obtained  by academically poor students in schools, colleges and universities especially due to the  negligence and ignorant demeanor  of  teacher as well as professors. It refers to the prejudiced mark assigned to students which is exactly out of fine justice. What happens in this aspect is  that not all but some  who suppose themselves to be very overambitious and supercilious teachers use to give marks to the students as per their likes and dislikes. I think we all are familiar that  we  have surely heard that certain teacher gives more emphasis or likes certain students in our class. Such teacher  shows such   behaviors that only gives preferences  to certain students who are within his/her intense likes. Even they don’t think that their  minor mistake may cause major mishap in other students’  academic career and in whole life.

“Teacher is a burning candle which burns itself but gives light  to others”, I think we all are very familiar with this quotation. Teacher are the most important person in human being’s life whose sympathy and support always make us walk in right track of progress. They are the adept whose blessing is always on the head of students to set the Thames on  Fire, in the days to come. To be honest the role of the teacher  is  like ‘ladder’: it is used by everyone to climb up in life, but  the ladder itself stays in its place. The contribution made by such erudite  in building students personality and career is extremely full of compliments and eulogy. Thus they have high respect and reputation in society as anyone who meets them in hotel, or public place greet them with ‘Namaste sir’. Over and above they offer them some kind of drinks like tea or coffee or  cold drinks. But now a days not only the prestige of teacher are dragging into decadence but also being the victims  of aggressive  behavior of students . we have heard especially of government school as well as teachers of private colleges have been attacked physically. Gradually it is found that what the teacher  are doing and saying is completely different. Even they are behaving in a discriminative way. We can see various instances in our locality. Some teacher  like Biren who had killed his student  Khyati Shrestha some  years ago so inhumanly, shows  that they are character  of danger as well as a laughing stock. This has decayed the name and fame of other teacher  who are morally clean and clear. But the context here which I am talking is a little bit different than that. I like to contribute my ideas in the discriminative behaviors of some teachers in school,  colleges and universities.

Some teachers use to give more marks to such students whom they like most but students may not be academically sound. Knowingly or unknowingly we are also being injured to face the  music of their  behaviors. This surely hampers the talented students who do not score  expected  mark because of their discriminative selection.  With this demeanor, genius and  creative  students often feel irritated and they are conspired which may result their declining intensity in relation to studies. It is equivalent to flog a dead horse of laborious students. On the contrary, students who don’t work hard feel that he/she will help me  in passing the exam. But what will happen tomorrow is beyond their imagination. Though   they pass the exam due to such activities of some  ignorant teachers, they may not pass real exam of their  real life, which would be matter of lamentation, overhead and ears in coming days. The potentiality of students would depreciate and deviation ,digression as well as delinquency would be fertilized. The  cultivation of mark scam  is responsible for elusive in achievement  of talented students as well.

To turn over a new leaf in eradication of  such marks scam from every our academic institution not only the students should be conscious but teacher should feel  that  they are the example of love and truth., over and above they should not forget that teachers don’t have right to be selfish. The vain ramification should be stopped in  the regards of likes and dislikes. What they should realize that “good  student learn from bad teacher but bad student can’t learn from good teacher” which is very popular especially  in Germany. Thus the filthy action of teacher i.e. looking through prejudiced eye should be clearly rooted  out so that every students can get  fine justice in case of scoring mark as it is the incentives of students to be fostered.
